I'm not sure I can write a post with my open ID (or I haven't found how). This is your gift for the prompt: I'd love to see something with Avon, Vila, and Gan all interacting. Avon and Vila had an interesting friendship develop (well, pre-Orbit, of course), and I loved Avon and Gan's friendship. Maybe they get involved in some kind of caper or adventure together? Bonus points if Avon comes to appreciate Gan a bit (though he doesn't have to let on much).
